Not a bad, budget option for Europe side Istanbul. Close to nice cafes and restaurants. I was very late to arrive from the airport, mid-night! And there was a man waiting for me, of which I was VERY appreciative for. Basic rooms, private bunks in the 4 bed dorms. Toilets and shower all good and fine. DOWNSIDE: There's a club or two close and next door to the dorm I was in is a loud bar, you'll hear drunken chit-chat all night, along with bassy, club music. Still a good option for the price and location.

we stayed with my friend for 2 nights. the room and the shared bathroom was clean and comfortable. but if your luggage is heavy, i recommend that you let them know beforehand because it was hard for us to carry our luggage to the fourth floor (luckily the person in charge helped us). people who work there and stay there are very friendly and the location is perfect.

This place has as many strong points as it does weak points, but the price point makes it okay. The reception staff are friendly and helpful, around from 8am to 12am. They provide all the info you need so that check-in is smooth. The rooms are good with old but functional aircon, decent beds and basic curtains for a bit of privacy. The rooms are squashy but you get a locker that could fit my 65L backpack and more - getting it in was tough because of the tight squeeze between the bed and locker but once it was in, it's fine. There's also an underbed drawer that you can lock with your own lock. You get a light and shelf on your bed. The rooms are keycard entry and the front door has a code so it has good security. The common area is small but nice and chill to hang out in. The bathrooms were in pretty shabby condition, some didn't have showerheads or shower doors and were generally grubby. They're tight so it would be better if they were just converted into wetrooms so at least the water that splashed everywhere would drain somewhere. Instead the toilet area would get all wet and pool there with paper on the floor and get kind of gross until it was cleaned, which seemed to be about once a day. Wifi was generally spotty, routers would just stop working intermittently between floors and sometimes the ISP just provided no service for hours at a time. Sometimes connecting to a different floor meant weaker signal and slower speed, but at least you had net. When it was working, it was 30Mbps down 15Mbps up. Once you check out, you can still use the common room or store your bags but you can't use the shower which kind of sucks since I had a night bus to catch so couldn't shower until the next day. For the price, it's okay.
