A beautiful and inspiring place to visit in Gyumri. The house-museum preserves the life and work of Hovhannes Shiraz, one of Armenia’s greatest poets. You can feel the atmosphere of his home, see personal belongings, manuscripts, and learn about his creative journey. The staff is welcoming and shares interesting stories, making the visit even more meaningful. A must-see for literature and culture lovers.

A fabulously interesting museum in the centre of Gyumri. Contrary to online information it costs 1,000 dram entrance fee but it is, in my opinion, worth it. Lots to see and photograph and the lovely lady who walks you round offers information and insights into the collection. This eclectic collection consists of furniture, photographs, artifacts such as a desk and accoutrements and art pieces by sons of Shiraz. I wouldn't have missed this for the world. Thank you!

Visited this amazing place in Jan1st and were amazed with history and funny stories about Shiraz and his life which ones tell us an amazing guide
