A very quiet place to rest, Wi-fi for guests, courteous and caring staff. I had a good time there.

It’s not that the place is bad, it has a fine location, the rooms are nice, and price pretty good. But there was a couple things: There is a kitchen, for cooking. That kitchen is disgusting, and I mean disgusting. I think the last time it was cleaned was during Soviet times. The owner is treating the hostel like if it was a private home. His dog, which was extremely annoying, was there most times - dogs should not be at hostels where people are paying😅 In the lobby they have a sign which says “quiet time from 23:00-07:00”. We had to ask the staff several times to be quiet at night! They did phone calls with the loudspeaker turned on. That’s not ok! Since hostel Jan is not the only budget accommodation in Yerevan, it is not my future place to stay when I am in Yerevan. Sorry i don’t have any more positive to say, but sadly I don’t

Arman is a good host, very hospitable and understanding. The price is perfect for the stay. I stayed here for 10 days and wish I could stay longer. I made 7-10 good friends here, and we still stay in touch. The location is perfect because it’s close to most of the best spots around Yerevan, and the Yerani tour van gets to stop by here whenever I did my day tours!
