The Aleppo passage was built in 1885 by M. Hacar from Aleppo. In 1886 the Variety Circus Theater, where trapeze shows were performed, was added to the back of the passage. Later this was also converted into a theater by the architect Kapanaki. The hall was purchased by Ferhan Şensoy and restored to its original state. Currently it is operated by the Ortaoyuncular Theater.
