Fatih Anit Parki (Monument Park) is situated directly west the 4th century Roman Aqueduct in the heart of Istanbul. The park was established in 1987 and features a centrepiece monument dedicated to Sultan Mehmet II, known as Mehmed the Conqueror. You will also find park benches, walking paths and fair sized trees creating shade for those planning to spend a bit of time in this area of the city, seeking a place to take a seat to rest your feet. Worth a quick visit to view the ancient aqueduct and Sultan Mehmed II monument.

Fatih Memorial Park is a quiet and relaxing place in Istanbul. It has nice green spaces, benches, and a small playground. There’s also a monument that remembers the Ottoman conquest of the city. It’s a great spot to take a break and enjoy some peace.

This is a nice place to relax. It is great to be able to be with the cats and friendly dogs, especially being away from your own pets. They are placid and social, these citizens truly enhance this beautiful city.
