It is not a small cosy cafe but rather a spacious room with a lot of chairs and benches. The integration into the former brewery is amazing and one can enjoy the old architecture. A great coffee shop.

We had just finished at the Nuremberg Castle and had lunch in the area and wanted a coffee break before heading to the Christkindlmarkt. Espressolab was great because there’s ample seating, they served a variety of coffee drinks, and also had a bathroom. When you’re traveling, it’s always hard to find bathrooms so this was a big boon. Staff were very nice, drinks were great, and we were able to just rest up before venturing out into the market.

Definitely one of the best coffee shops in town! They not only serve great coffee with plenty of variations, but also offer a selection of interesting and tasty food. The location is in a lovely neighborhood, and the space inside is wide and comfortable; perfect for chilling, catching up, or getting some work done. The Wi-Fi is reliable and there are plenty of power outlets, which is a big plus. Highly recommended.
