Ortaköy Mosque is absolutely beautiful—soft, pink-toned, delicate, and very feminine in its design. It feels elegant and light, and honestly one of the most photogenic mosques in Istanbul. There’s something very gentle about it that makes it stand out from the others. What makes it even more special is its location right by the bay. The views of the water, the Bosphorus Bridge, and the boats passing by give it a very romantic and peaceful vibe, especially in the late afternoon or around sunset. It’s one of those places where you naturally slow down and just enjoy the moment. The mosque is in a very convenient area, surrounded by cafés and restaurants, and just steps away from the ferry port. It’s easy to include in your day, whether you’re walking along the waterfront, hopping on a ferry, or stopping for a meal nearby. Overall, Ortaköy Mosque feels intimate, charming, and perfectly placed. Beautiful architecture, amazing views, and a lovely atmosphere all in one spot. Definitely worth visiting and lingering a bit.

Ortaköy Mosque looks almost unreal. Light and elegant, standing right at the edge of the Bosphorus with the bridge rising behind it. Inside is calm and intimate; outside is full Istanbul energy with stalls, people, and the city rushing by. A perfect blend of sacred quiet and urban chaos. Beautiful, photogenic, and absolutely worth a stop. Especially at sunset or evening

One of my favorite places to visit, it's so picturesque with views of the Bosphorus Strait, Buyuk Mecidye Mosque and the Bosphorus Bridge. The Mosque itself is beautiful with view of the Bosphorus from inside and stunning chandeliers. A must see when in istanbul. Entry to the mosque is donations only no ticket is required.
