I’m from the states and udonya surpasses a lot of the local Japanese restaurants back in Washington DC area. It is hands down the most authentic Japanese restaurant in Istanbul, run by Japanese. Highly recommend! Definitely try one of their bento boxes. Their menu is huge and there’s a lot of variety.

I was feeling under the weather and craving for ramen and found this restaurant close to where im staying. Unfortunately, all the staff felt like they all just want to call it a day and look so tired hence my rating. The food I ordered was ok but im surprised theres a 10% service charge, why?

I ordered takoyaki and okonomiyaki, I was not able to take photo. Generous squid and shrimps. A little bit expensive. Good service.
