Built in the 1590s, the mosque is a historical monument. There is also a tomb in the mosque courtyard. However, the mosque's closure during intermission creates inconveniences for worshippers.

Şeyh Sinan Mosque / Antalya: It is estimated that the structure was built by Şeyh Sinan in AH 999/AD 1590. It is known that he came here from his hometown to wage jihad and was martyred. An inscription on the mosque's tomb confirms this. The Şeyh Sinan Mosque in the Sinan neighborhood is one of Antalya's remaining places of worship from the Ottoman period. Built in 1590, the mosque has a rather plain appearance. The Şeyh Sinan Mosque, located in the Çaybaşı area of the Sinan neighborhood, has a mausoleum outside the mosque. It is a simple, rectangular structure. Constructed of rubble stone, wood, and cut stone, the mosque is said to have been built in 1590 during the Ottoman period. A small tomb belonging to Şeyh Sinan is located to the north of the mosque, and graves are located outside the tomb.

I was here on May 31, 2018. The inscription on this mosque, located on Recep Peker Street in the Sinan neighborhood, states that it was built in the 16th century. The mosque has a minaret, and in its garden there is a tomb belonging to Sheikh Sinan.
