An absolutely outstanding stay from start to finish. The Mövenpick Hotel in Izmir truly sets the benchmark for excellence in every possible way. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The staff are exceptional — professional, warm, attentive, and always going the extra mile with sincere kindness. You can feel that hospitality here is not just a standard, but a passion. One moment that stood out in particular was the thoughtful call to our room, simply to ask whether we were comfortable, if everything was going well, and if there was anything we needed. This small yet meaningful gesture perfectly reflects the hotel’s extraordinary level of service and attention to detail. Every aspect of our stay — from comfort and cleanliness to service quality and atmosphere — was flawless. The hotel is not only excellent, it is truly award-worthy and sets itself apart through its people and their dedication. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Izmir.

Excellent service at the front desk, restaurant, breakfast and bar. Rooms are spacious and some of them has a good view on the sea. A nice bar located near the lobby. The hotel location is excellent, you have many restaurants, bars and shopping stores within walking distance from the hotel. I do recommend this Movenpick in Izmir.

I was in İzmir for work and urgently needed a stable, high-speed internet connection for a video conference. The hotel I initially stayed at offered only around 4 Mbps, and the connection was frustratingly unstable. I even checked the Marriott nearby, which had slightly better speeds at 10–12 Mbps, but still not ideal for video calls. Then I tested the Wi-Fi at Mövenpick—and was genuinely impressed. Speeds clocked in at over 80 Mbps, consistently smooth and reliable. (See attached image for proof.) If you’re in Alsancak and need dependable, fast internet—whether for remote work, streaming, or video conferencing—Mövenpick is hands-down the best option I found.
