Ive been to mao several times but the last time I was I didnt get as impressed as I used to get. We order fried rice with eggs. it tasted very rancid (eggy) as if the egg was spoiled or something we informed the waiter he said “thats how it tastes like” with an attitude. Well I would expect a better service from your establishment. But another waiter came and asked if you wanted another one and we had finished the lunch by the time he asked. yet we ended up paying 8$ for a rice we didnt eat . The rest of the food was good 4/5 at most.
We liked what we had. The desserts specially had unique tastes.
There are Chinese, Vietnamese and Japanese dishes. Peking duck is the best in my opinion. You should book a table in advance if you come in the evening.
