The mosk is an architectural wonder. The size is massive, breathtaking even, and the datails are extraordinary. The yard and the plaza in front are beautiful and the view is out of this world. The only down side is that is really far from all the other main attractions so depending on where you’re accomodation is you might need a while to get there especially if its during peak rush hours. But if you dont mind it its deffinetly worth the visit! Depending on when you go there bring some warm clothes beacuse its up high on the hill and really windy

Absolutely beautiful mosque. Scenic location, amazing amenities inside to peform ablutions e.t.c Inside is state of the art modern meets traditional cultural Türkiye. It is a MUST see on any trip to Istanbul. We took a cab from Besiktas and it took ages because of traffic and rush hour, I would hugely reccomend going during quiet times, plan accordingly and you can spend a good 2 to 3 hours here. The views of the surrounding areas are stunning, dress warm if going in winter as wind and cold is very strong up at this mosque.

Grand Çamlıca Mosque is a place I would highly recommend visiting if you are planning a trip to Istanbul. The mosque itself is incredibly beautiful, especially in the evening when the lights are on. In addition to that, the viewpoint in front of the mosque offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city — I couldn’t take my eyes off them. It was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. If you have limited time in Istanbul, this place is perfect because you get two experiences in one: a stunning mosque and an amazing city view. We reached the mosque by bus. We got off one stop earlier, but later noticed that the bus actually goes all the way to the mosque, so it’s a good idea to ask the bus driver. The area around the mosque is still under development, and we noticed ongoing construction work. The café on the territory was closed during our visit, so it’s unclear whether it is currently operating. I would recommend eating beforehand and bringing water with you, as it was difficult to find nearby cafés or shops. Despite these small inconveniences, the visit was absolutely worth it, and the views alone make this place a must-see in Istanbul.
