This place is a true hidden gem! A relaxing oasis in busy Istanbul. A small coffee shop that has around 5 tables downstairs, 5 upstairs, and some tables outside for smokers. Both downstairs and upstairs there is a beautiful large window opening on the garden of the Arif Paşa Apartmanı, where you can enjoy the view with a nice cup of coffee or tea and a delicious slice of cake. The cat might also decide that the book you are reading is the perfect place where to take a nap during your visit. There was a good selection of teas and coffees, not much choice for the cakes. The staff was nice and they spoke English, despite this not being a touristic area.

Lovely little coffee shop! Great coffee and quirky decor. We stayed at the Endless Art Hotel nearby and this was our essential daily stop on our way to Taksim Square. Really nice vibes, would definitely recommend!

This is a neat little coffee shop off Cumhuriyet Cd around 5 minutes north of Taksim Square. They have atmospheric indoor seating with a sort of Ottoman kitsch decor theme as well as outdoor seating. Opening hours are 8am to 10pm daily. We visited after dinner nearby and found them rather full around 8pm midweek. There was a table for two available though so we were seated inside upon arrival. Menu features a traditional range of coffees, teas and a few light bites to eat. Our macchiato and mocha coffee drinks were both quite good. Service was very friendly, vibes really cool, just a neat overall place to find and enjoy a cup of coffee if you find yourself in the area. We'd gladly return.
