Built in early 16th century this is also a very beautiful ancient mosque in Istanbul. Its been kept and maintained well. Beautiful architectural design in and out. All though because of the amazing blue mosque and hagia Sofia this has less importance to the tourists. This is a functional mosque, prayers are offered everyday, times. Like most of the mosque in the world, anyone can enter including non muslims. Just please cover yourself down upto your knee from shoulder for men. For women, please cover your hair also with a scarf. In wikipedia search with different spelling as “Bayezid II Mosque”.

Historical elegance. One of Istanbul’s oldest imperial mosques, this "Bridge of the Eras" perfectly blends early Ottoman style with Byzantine influence. Commissioned by Sultan Bayezid II, its courtyard is a serene masterpiece of marble and porphyry. Often overshadowed by its larger neighbors, it offers a quieter, deeply spiritual atmosphere and stunning stonework. A true architectural treasure of the city. Definitely recommended 👌🏼.

This mosque is less famous than others in Istanbul, but it truly deserves a visit. It has beautiful Ottoman architecture and a calm, authentic atmosphere away from the crowds. Located in a very lively area, it offers a peaceful moment for reflection and discovery. A historic place that I highly recommend.
